Jeff Jensen is a principal and senior vice president for HKS and a 27 veteran in the design industry. He is presently design director for HKS Hospitality and is involved in the marketing, programming, design and the overall project delivery of hotel and resort projects totaling more than $3 billion in construction cost.
Jeff, along with the HKS Hospitality design staff, has completed projects throughout the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean, Spain and China. His experience includes a range of hotel concepts from luxury one-of-a-kind boutique resort properties to mega entertainment and gaming hotels.
Some of his accomplishments include leading the design team on the new Las Banderas El Banco Resort, a boutique luxury product in Punta de Mita, Mexico, Las Ventanas al Paraiso, a world class luxury hotel and condominium resort in Los Cabos, Mexico, the 8 million square foot, 3,000-room hotel and casino expansion for the existing Venetian in Las Vegas and the 11 million square foot recreation of the Venetian Casino Resort in Macau, China.
Jeff led the design team on the highly acclaimed Las Ventanas in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. This destination resort has been published in over 100 publications including the cover story of Travel & Leisure. It is consistently listed as one of the best resorts in the world and most recently “Best Latin American Resort” by Conde Nast.
His affiliations include the American Institute of Architects, Texas Society of Architects, Dallas Chapter AIA and is a past officer on the Board of Directors for the Dallas Architectural Foundation.
Jeff graduated with a Bachelor of Environmental Design in Architecture from the University of Kansas in 1981.
