Sébastien Audette first began his career in healthcare in1994, with the Canadian Forces (CF) Health Services as a medical technician. In 1998, after his studies at the CF Medical Services School in C.F.B. Borden, he held diverse positions as an administrator, mostly in emergency care and primary care services. Additionally, he served as an officer in Bosnia-Herzegovina and still is active with the 28th Field Ambulance in Ottawa.
Parallel to that, Mr. Audette has also held a career in public and international affairs, beginning as an International Affairs Advisor with the Québec Government, assisting companies from the healthcare industry to grow internationally. Mr. Audette subsequently held various roles of management and business development consultant both in Canada and abroad.
Mr. Audette holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from HEC Montreal, and a graduate degree in Public Administration from l’École Nationale d’Administration Publique. During his studies, he attended graduate programs in Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi in Milan, Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and Institut Regional d’Administration in France.
Mr. Audette joined Accreditation Canada in 2008 and was appointed as inaugural Chief Executive Officer of Accreditation Canada International in January 2011. Mr. Audette is married and has two children.
