Stanley Chiu, AIA, LEED® AP, is 18-year veteran architect known for his work in healthcare and higher education.  He is RTKL’s Los Angeles Health + Science Studio leader and guides firm activities in the western United States and Asia markets.  Stan is an award-winning designer and master planner whose work is regularly featured in numerous publications, including The New York Times, Modern Healthcare and Architectural Record. He is widely known for designing healthcare facilities using lean design principles, which maximize value and minimize waste in the built environment. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and serves on the Lean Construction Institute Advisory Committee.  His use of lean design principles enhances the level of care provided at healthcare facilities by improving the flow of patients, materials and information.
