Tyler Krehlik is an Associate Principal and the Committee Chair for Sustainability at Anshen+Allen Architects. His roles have included planning and design for a wide range of large-scale research and healthcare projects.
Tyler oversees all sustainable design project initiatives at Anshen+Allen including 3 LEED certified projects (2 Silver, 1 Gold) and 17 projects registered with LEED and GGHC. He is a Project Architect and Sustainability Leader for the UCSF Medical Center at Mission Bay, a $1.58B project which is pursuing LEED Gold. Under his educational direction, over 40% of Anshen+Allen’s staff has become LEED Accredited.
Tyler has taught and spoken widely on the concepts of sustainability, evidence based design, and integrated design. He is an instructor with the Sustainable Building Advisor Program and is an active member of the AIA San Francisco Committee on the Environment, the United States Green Building Council Northern California Council and Bay Area Leadership in Sustainable Architecture.
